STWD(Steelwood Architecture, PLLC.) was founded in North Carolina, USA in 2008. The Chinese branch studio was set up in Suzhou in 2011 and officially established in 2017 in Shanghai. STWD is an international design firm comprised of Urban Planning, Urban Design, Architectural Design & Landscape Design. The Key members of STWD are graduated from Chinese and American top architectural schools, and are registered architects of America and China, and members of American institute of Architects (AIA) as well as LEED a.p. They have won a number of prestigious design awards from AIA and China institute of Architects.

STWD believes in the philosophy that the combination of nature and culture is the origin of healthy urban structure. STWD is focusing on collaborative and creative design on multidiscipline fields, and is committed to provide excellent design and consultant services and full-range solutions on urban and architectural challenges.
