One of the most appreciated moments of Vietnam cuisine shall be the experience of kerbside dining for its authenticity and informality. The translation of kerbside dining appeal, through materiality and furniture design, would be the restaurant’s first impression from the entrance that attracts the restaurant-goers.

In contrast to kerbside dining beside a busy street, the experience of dining under the lining of trees shall no doubt be also an enjoyable dining experience. Turning the corner reveals the full height glazing with promised view outwards, the ‘kerbside’ is transited into a ‘lining of trees’, represented by alternative material abstraction, where the patrons may dine under the shade.
