In an era of information-overloading being our daily encounter, subjectivity is practiced more with information filtering than with knowledge hunting. A resilient void in our grey matters guards the threshold of the busy data inlet, while schizophrenically imploding into a red-shifting embryo to cradle our infinite mind baby, AVOID -ing things for A VOID.
A( )VOID takes part in cross-field practices, including (but not limited to) architecture /interior /graphics /urban /brand /animation /virtual reality. With which we build our linguistic and etymological rumination system, definitions and glossaries within the office gradually gain autonomy, then they shape us via our conceptualisations of scales, materiality, typology, commerciality, etc.
We design to allow capacities for randomness and surprises in different aspects of a project, so involved parties are encouraged to participate in this controlled mayhem, feeling confidently or inferiorly challenging about these collisions and caresses between A( )VOID and contexts. Such philosophy leads to potential excitements and disappointments, which nurture and shape our nonlinear time-spaces of deja vus and jamais vus.
